Die Neuen Berliner Räume sind eine Ausstellungsplattform für wechselnde Künstler, Kuratoren und andere Kreative. Gemeinsam rücken wir Perspektiven in den Fokus, die uns bewegen und anregen; Formate, die sich mit unserer unmittelbaren Gegenwart beschäftigen.
Wie kaum eine andere Stadt sucht Berlin nach neuen Räumen für sich und seine Ideen – unser Projekt entsteht in diesen Räumen; und mit diesen Räumen.
Am 09. September 2011 eröffneten die NBR mit der Ausstellung AND LIKE THIS YOU KEEP THEM ALIVE / ON LOVE ihren ersten temporären Projektraum in Berlin Neukölln in der Nähe des Tempelhofer Feldes. Nach einer weiteren Gruppenausstellung in Neukölln organisierten die NBR im Januar 2012 in Kooperation mit 12 europäischen Galerien und unter kuratorischer Assistenz von Dr. Marc Wellmann (Ausstellungsleiter des Georg-Kolbe-Museum, Berlin) die Ausstellung CLAIM. Im Sommer 2012 präsentieren die NBR die erste deutsche Soloausstellung des englischen Künstlers Robert Montgomery.

Neue Berliner Räume is a platform for changing artists, curators and other creatives. Together, we want to realise projects that move and inspire us; we want to foreground perspectives through which we can discover anew what matters to us.
Like hardly any other city, Berlin searches for new spaces for itself and its ideas – our project grows in these spaces; and with these spaces.
On 9 September 2011, NBR opened its first temporary project space in Berlin-Neukölln with the group exhibition AND LIKE THIS YOU KEEP THEM ALIVE / ON LOVE. After another exhibition in Neukölln, NBR organized the international group exhibition CLAIM in cooperation with 12 European galleries and with the curatorial assistance of Dr. Marc Wellmann (Director of exhibitions at Georg-Kolbe-Museum, Berlin). Later this year, NBR will be presenting the first German solo exhibition of UK artist Robert Montgomery.
